The grand reopening of America

NY Times:

Reopening Has Begun. No One Is Sure What Happens Next.

The heated debate over when to restart the economy has obscured an issue that could prove just as thorny: How to do it.
The reopening is something to be celebrated instead of feared.  It will not be the same as it was before for several months, but we can make adjustments for continued social distancing in several ways to get commerce back.  Some of the shameful aspects of the reopening are that people in government are the ones least likely to support a return to commerce.  Of course, they have not lost their paychecks and don't worry about paying their rent and buying food.

Then there are the Democrat politicians who see political advantage in ruining the economy.  They set impossible preconditions because they think it will help them win elections.
