Inca were child killers

Corpses of children from all over the Inca Empire were placed on special platforms atop Peruvian mountains to get struck by lightning, scientists have revealed.
They evidently thought that being struck by lightning would "elevate" the child.  The early migrants to America were not nearly as noble as some now making them out to be.
