Criticism of Mueller tied to the conflicts of interest of his staff
NY Times:
This story looks like another attempt to hide the coup attempt by some in the FBI and the DOJ who did not want Trump to become president. They are the people who should be the subject of an investigation. Mueller needs to distance himself from the plotters if he wants to keep his credibility.
Unfortunately, it looks like many in the media would rather be co-conspirators of the plotters than journalists seeking the truth whereever it leads.
The investigation so far has found no evidence to support the central theory of why it was set up to begin with. None of its prosecutins have supported the "Russian collusion" theory of the Democrats who saught to use the investigation to stymie the Trump presidency. Virtually all of the complaints about Mueller revolve around the conflicts of interestrs of the people he hired and the people inside the FBI and DOJ with a political axe to grind.Image of Cooperation Between White House and Mueller Starts to Fracture
President Trump’s lawyers and supporters have significantly increased their attacks on the special counsel as the investigation has reached deeper into the president’s inner circle.
