I don't think Churchill died from his cigars or port

Telegraph:
Winston Churchill biopic criticised for placing health warning on cigar smoking scenes
There were many things that could have killed him.  He led an interesting life and thankfully a long one.  He was a great man of rare courage.  He understood what Hitler was up to before anyone else.  His military strategy was not always on point, but he was a fighter.  He got things wrong in World War I by pushing the Gallopli campaign and his "soft underbelly" push into Italy during World War II was a bloody mess.

While smoking cigars is not healthy, I had a good friend who died of throat cancer from using them, they were not always fatal.
