Focusing on the upside of global warming
Washington Post:
The proponents of the doom and gloom are beginning to lose the argument because they have refused to join the debate. Rather than debate the facts, they resort mainly to name calling like "denier" and appeals to authority by making a dubious claim of consensus.
Much of the media seems to go along with this failed strategy and just ignores any evidence that does not fit their agenda. That is contributing to a distrust of the media. It is good to see that the Trump administration is willing to look at potential benefits.
Trump meets with physicist who says global warming is good for usI think Happer is closer to the truth than the doomsayers. Those trying to convince us that we are doomed if we don't adopt their control freak agenda for managing the global thermostat seem frustrated by the fact that there are fewer major storms and that on the whole, the planet is getting greener and thus more inviting.
Princeton’s William Happer has said the “benefits that more [carbon dioxide] brings from increased agricultural yields and modest warming far outweigh any harm.”
