Top U.S. general: ‘There will be a long-term mission in Libya’ for American military forces

A deal to bring in U.S. troops to train Libyan militias could be reached “any day,” Gen. Joseph Dunford said, adding that NATO will want a request from the new government in order to get involved.
It will take more than training to create a Libyan force that the government and people can count on.  The place has been too chaotic to expect much at this point.  The mess created by Hillary Clinton and President Obama is unlikely to be fixed by training troops at this point.
