Trump's comments about Ted Cruz's dad shows Trump is not intelligent enough to be President

Susan Wright:
This is the essence of the GOP’s nominee, Donald Trump, lest anyone find themselves struggling with their conscience and if he would be a better option than Hillary Clinton, or anybody else in November.

As Indiana voters were rushing to put the final nail in the coffin of our nation, Trump was holding court with his loyal lapdogs on Fox News. During the course of his call-in, he linked Senator Ted Cruz’s father with Lee Harvey Oswald, the man who assassinated President John F. Kennedy.

It was detestable, low, unbelievably uncouth, and typical Trump.

The only thing worse was the glassy-eyed acquiescence of Fox’s morning hosts.

Today, rather than letting it go, Trump defended his comments.

“It was a major story in a major publication,” Trump said Wednesday on ABC, referring to a National Enquirer claim that Rafael Cruz was photographed with Lee Harvey Oswald before Kennedy’s killing. “All I did was refer to it.”

The National Enquirer. A major publication. Let that sink in.

This is the man that people like the majority of Fox News, Laura Ingraham, Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh, and a mass of poorly educated, Branch Trumpidian cretins would have in charge of the nuclear codes.
...
Trump has said a lot of things during this campaign that make you question his intellect and this should be near the top.
