There are good reasons not to trust liberals on the environment
Robert Maranto:
When you live in the country as I do now you can see how property can be overgrown with vegetation in just a few short years. I spend a lot of time just trying to keep it from overwhelming my attempts to civilize it.
To clear property for a more park like setting or to make a pasture, requires heavy bulldozers and other big equipment. It does not take long to see it return to a thicket if left unattended. Abandoned houses are quickly overgrown like Mayan ruins.
Why Republicans don't believe in global warmingLiberals have been wrong about much in their attempts to scare people into letting them have their way with the lives of others. While we need to be good stewards of our land, it should also be recognized that the environment is not as fragile as Big Green says it is.
