Jeb Bush's counter intuitive strategy
Washington Post:
I think conservatives are looking for someone who will stand up to liberal Democrats like Obama. That is clearly one of the appeals of people like Scott Walker and Ted Cruz both of whom have risen in the polls. Marco Rubio has also been critical of the President's foreign policy and is recovering from his own flirting with immigration reform. Jeb was already in trouble with the base with his stands on immigration and Common Core. Defending one of the worst Presidents ever is not a good way to win support of the Republican base. Can Jeb Bush win the GOP nomination. . . by praising President Obama?
The former Florida governor has angered conservatives by siding with president on some issues.
