Liberia
If President Bush wanted to get the liberals to quit pestering the US to send troops to Liberia, he just has to suggest tht they will go in to stop the diamond smuggling trade that is financing al Qaeda. The libs will immediately challenge intelligence that suggest such trade is taking place. They will then accuse the US of acting in its own selfish interest. Street demonstrators will carry signs that say "No blood for diamond smuggling."
While liberians appear to be ready to welcome US forces with open arms and greet them as liberators, any subsequent criminal activity by rogue elements remaining in Liberia will be used as an excuse to suggest that the US has blundered into another quagmire.
