Iraq police recruits killed
Killing for intimidation purposes has been a way of life in Iraq since Saddam came to power. Killing seven police recruits, however, may be a mistake.
Intimidation works only when there is a possibility that it cannot be resisted and it will continue. Iraqis can now fight back with the help of US forces. This type of killing is likely to make some Iraqis more eager to cooperate witht he US in order to avoid the possibility of the murderous tyrants coming back into power.
