Twitter overreacts to Omar's opponents allegations

Does Twitter ever inflict the same penalties on those who attack the President? I don't know but I have seen a lot of ugly things said about him and his supporters on Twitter. I really do not try to keep up with what the opponents of Trump say and Twitter's reaction. It is actually pretty easy to ignore those Tweets.
When Twitter inflicts a permanent suspension of her account it is taking sides in an election and that is improper. They should have asked for a retraction or correction first and given a suspension of a few days at the most. Danielle Stella, a Republican, suggested on Twitter that Ms. Omar be tried for treason and hanged.
