Karzai exposes Kabul to attacks by pulling special ops team

Officials cited complaints that Afghans working for American Special Forces had killed and tortured villagers in Maidan Wardak province, a crucial link in the defense of the capital.
Those seeking to restrain attacks on the Taliban certainly seem to have the ear of President Karzai.  He may regret his move if attacks from taht area increase on his compound in Kabul.  Note his problem was with the Afghans working with the US special ops team.  You would think a prudent leader would be able to get control of his forces without having to withdraw them.
