DHS Chief Noem Blasts Democrats for Shielding Alleged MS-13 Thug in Latest Immigration Clash

In a fiery appearance on Fox News’ Hannity, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem tore into Democrats for their unwavering support of Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia, branding him a “sick individual” tied to violent crimes and gang activity. Noem’s comments highlight the growing divide over immigration enforcement under President Trump, where law-abiding Americans are finally seeing a crackdown on illegal entrants who threaten communities.

Sean Hannity, outlining Abrego Garcia’s suspected MS-13 connections and other serious allegations, expressed bafflement at why left-wing politicians would rally behind such a figure. Noem echoed that sentiment, pulling no punches in her response.

“I don’t understand it either, Sean,” Noem said. “In fact, let’s not forget that Abrego Garcia also solicited minors, children, for naked pictures, for p*rnography. I mean, he’s a sick individual that’s known to be a terrorist and a human trafficker. And these Democrats and liberals stand beside him. They sing for him. They chant for him to be released so that he can perpetuate more crimes on our communities.”

The controversy surrounding Abrego Garcia erupted in March 2025 when the Trump administration deported him to El Salvador’s notorious CECOT mega-prison, citing his alleged ties to the brutal MS-13 gang and involvement in human smuggling. Despite claims of protected legal status, federal authorities moved swiftly to remove him, labeling the action an “administrative error” only after backlash from Democrats who argued it was a wrongful deportation.

Democrats have been strangely supportive of all sorts of illegal immigrants as they opened the borders under Biden to let millions in.  I suspect they see them as future Democrat voters.  Abrego Garcia does not appear to be someone most Americans would want as a neighbor.
