Trump's overly generous offer to Democrats on immigration likely to be rejected

NY Times:

Trump Immigration Offer: Citizenship and Stern Tactics

If Democrats want relief for young unauthorized immigrants, they would have to accept a border wall and restrictions on low-skilled immigrants joining their families in America.
Many of Trump's supporters oppose the offer as too generous.  The deal would end chain migration and the immigration lottery which has brought in millions including some who have engaged in terrorist attacks in teh US.  Some reports have indicated that as many as 75 percent of terrorist attacks were by people who entered the country by these routes.

If Democrats do not take this deal it will show how they are just using DACA participants for political purposes and they are not really serious about their position.
