A bad move by a religious sect

NY Times:

Presbyterians Vote to Divest Holdings to Pressure Israel

The church voted at its general convention to divest from three companies that it says supply Israel with equipment used in the occupation of Palestinian territory.
They seem to be upset with Israel because that country refuses to make suicidal concessions to the Palestinian religious bigots.   In both the long and short run the divestment will be costly to the Presbyterians.  The reason there is no deal is because the Palestinians don't want one that results in Israel's survival.  It takes willful blindness to to see that.
