IRS misled the court about emails


And they are before a judge who has appointed a special prosecutor before to deal with DOJ abuses.  He has given the IRS and DOJ until July 10 to explain their failure to comply with a court requirement.

Greedy government slapped down by Supreme Court ruling

NY Times: States Can’t Keep Criminal Fines of Exonerated, Supreme Court Rules By a 7 to 1 vote, the justices struck down a Colorado law that required people cleared by the courts to file civil suits and prove their innocence. The ruling, in this case, seems logical.   The government should also revise the civil forfeiture rules.
