Sen. Schiff accused of misrepresenting his address
A Republican member of Congress added her voice to the growing chorus calling for U.S. Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA) to be censured after federal authorities alleged he misrepresented his residency on multiple mortgage documents over the past two decades.
Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) circulated her demand that the GOP-led Senate remove Schiff from his committee positions while the U.S. Justice Department mulls whether it will bring charges against him. Schiff serves on four committees, including the powerful Senate Judiciary Committee.
“Why has the GOP-led Senate not censured Adam Schiff and kicked him off committees for what he did?” she wrote on X Monday.
“They have the authority to do it. Stop being so low energy,” she said, tagging the Senate GOP’s main account to get its attention.
Schiff is the focus of a special prosecutor appointed by U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi, who will investigate whether there is veracity to the claim that he listed his Maryland residence as his primary home from 2003 until 2019. During that time, he was a member of the U.S. House in California, an elected office that requires officials to live in the state.
Luna added, “This guy is a crook. Now he’s being investigated for fraud.”

Schiff was officially put under investigation last month, when the U.S. attorney’s office of Maryland took the lead on examining whether he committed a crime when he allegedly submitted the falsified mortgage documents. A federal housing agency referred Schiff to the U.S. attorney general’s office in June.
Federal Housing Finance Agency Director William Pulte sent a letter to U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi and turned over documents suggesting Schiff, who served 12 terms in the House before winning his Senate seat in 2024, “falsified bank documents and property records to acquire more favorable loan terms, impacting payments” on a second residence he purchased in Potomac, Maryland.
Pulte claimed Schiff, 65, was also found to be taking a homeowner’s tax deduction on his California property, an allowance for year-round residents, according to Pulte.

Schiff apparently owns both homes, but lending documents indicate he lives in both places. I wonder if other politicians take the same deductions?

Is every single politician, especially Democrats, all lying, treasonous, corrupt, thieves? These people are the real criminals. People are absolutely down hearing about it and demand arrests. Adam Schiff needs to be arrested and charged immediately. D.C. has just been federalized and taken over by Trump, the National Guard, the FBI, the DEA and other agencies. The stage is being set. Do you understand the big picture and what is happening? Will Schiff be the first arrest, or will it be somebody even bigger?
