Trump asked intelligence heads to tell the truth about Russian collusion allegations

Daily Mail:

Two top intelligence officials told the Special Counsel's team, and senators, that President Trump asked them to refute reports of collusion between the Russians and his campaign.
Trump correctly stated that there was no collusion and it is hard to see anything inappropriate in asking officials to acknowledge the fact they were already aware of.  The Democrats had been running a scam with votes claiming there was collusion and setting the record straight rather than allow the fraud to fester makes sense.
