The dysfunction that has undermined relations between the executive and legislative branches in the Obama era now threatens to engulf the remaining branch.
The Democrats treated Robert Bork and Clarence Thomas unfairly as well as several nominees by George W. Bush.  They deserve every bit of the obstruction for their attempt to pack the court with liberal ideologues who don't really care what the constitution says.  The Democrats tend to see the court as a means to get legislation they can not get past voters at the ballot box.
