Egypt can't feed its people

The Muslim Brotherhood and the Salafist in Egypt have ruined the tourist trade that used to sustain the Egyptian economy. They have also cut off oil that was being sold to Israel and Jordan with attacks on the pipelines to carried the oil. Political support for US aid has evaporated with the rise of the Islamist. The cash shortage is raising questions about Egypt’s ability to keep importing wheat that is essential to the food supply, stirring fears of an economic catastrophe.
