The New York Times reported Wednesday that the party is grappling with infighting and a sharp decline in donations, painting a picture of a once-powerful machine now stuttering under the weight of its own dysfunction. At a time when the nation hungers for clarity and purpose, the Democrats seem mired in petty squabbles and elite detachment, alienating the very base they claim to champion.

DNC Chair Ken Martin, elected in February, has presided over a fundraising drought that threatens the party’s solvency. Major donors, once reliable cash flows, have turned tepid, leaving the DNC’s coffers dangerously thin. The Times noted that some senior officials have even whispered about borrowing money to keep the lights on—a desperate measure for a party that once boasted financial dominance. This isn’t just a bookkeeping problem; it’s a symptom of a deeper malaise, as the Democrats’ lofty rhetoric fails to resonate with a public weary of their out-of-touch posturing.

Six anonymous sources confided to the Times that major donors are dragging their feet, unwilling to bankroll a party that seems more interested in navel-gazing than addressing kitchen-table concerns. Two others revealed that borrowing cash is now a serious consideration, a move that would signal not just financial distress but a profound lack of confidence in the party’s direction. While Americans grapple with rising costs and uncertain futures, the DNC’s leadership appears consumed by internal power plays, oblivious to the urgency of reconnecting with the heartland.

Trump derangement is not a viable political policy.  Instead of constantly attacking Trump and his positions, the Democrats need to present a viable alternative, and they have not been able to do so recently.  The Trump economy is already vastly superior to that of the Biden regime.  Trump hatred is not working for them, as Trump is more popular than ever.

Drones appear to be replacing jets for many operations.  The Russia-Ukraine war is an example of that.  Drones are often hard to detect and can be used for intelligence operations as well as for attacking enemy targets.  It would not surprise me to see drones engaging other drones in combat.  They also cost much less than manned fighters.

Apple's huge investment in US including Texas facility

Blaze: Apple announced a $500 billion commitment to infrastructure in the United States over four years, its largest commitment to domestic spending to date. Apple said it will expand teams and facilities in Arizona, California, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Oregon, Texas, and Washington as part of its new spending. With a new facility in Houston, Texas, Apple will reportedly double its investment in advanced manufacturing along with increasing investments in AI and silicon engineering. The company said in a press release that the Houston facility will produce servers to support Apple Intelligence, the "personal intelligence system that helps users write, express themselves, and get things done." ... The Texas facility will be for advanced technologies.   Texas has become a place that is very supportive of the tech industries.  Austin and Houston have seen much of the tech growth in the state.  Texas universities have been active in the AI field.
