Trump demands Iran surrender
Federalist Wire:
On Tuesday, Trump took to Truth Social, emphasizing a demand for Iran’s “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER!” while hinting at the United States’ capacity to target Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. His words carry weight, demonstrating a clear-eyed focus on protecting American interests and allies without rushing into reckless action.
In a separate post, Trump elaborated on the U.S.’s strategic positioning, stating, “We know exactly where the so-called ‘Supreme Leader’ is hiding. He is an easy target, but is safe there – We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now.” He added a pointed warning: “But we don’t want missiles shot at civilians, or American soldiers. Our patience is wearing thin. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” This deliberate tone illustrates the administration’s preference for diplomacy while keeping all options open, a hallmark of Trump’s foreign policy wisdom.
The ongoing conflict, now in its fifth day of strikes between Israel and Iran, has left civilians in key conflict zones grappling with the consequences. Trump’s administration has prioritized clarity in its messaging, with the president previously noting America’s dominant role in the region’s airspace. “We now have complete and total control of the skies over Iran,” he wrote on Truth Social.
Trump further praised U.S. capabilities, stating, “Iran had good sky trackers and other defensive equipment, and plenty of it, but it doesn’t compare to American made, conceived, and manufactured ‘stuff.’” He added, “Nobody does it better than the good ol’ USA.” This confidence in American ingenuity reinforces the administration’s commitment to leveraging superior resources to maintain stability without unnecessary escalation.

The US has destroyed Iran's nuclear facilities and its top military leadership. The US could likely take out other Iranian assets, such as its oil and gas business. I suspect the chances of Iran surrendering at this point are remote. It would not surprise me to see more attacks on Iran.
