Democrats stalled small business loans to pay workers so they could use it as leverage for their political agenda

So why did Democrats delay? Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.) explained it rather succinctly in a virtual press conference. "I think what you're hearing from all of us on the call is that we have real concerns about giving away leverage now without getting some of the priorities that we need," she said.
Huh. What are the "priorities" that Democrats "need"? Why, "structural" reforms to American law, of course! After all, last month, Democrats stalled the $2 trillion stimulus bill and presented their own alternative version jam-packed with pet projects like Green New Deal-style energy regulations on airlines, collective bargaining for unions, a $15/hour minimum wage, and sixty pages on elections.

This desire to use the coronavirus crisis to jam Democratic priorities down Americans' throats goes all the way to the top of the Democratic Party. Presumptive nominee Joe Biden has called the crisis an "opportunity" for "structural" change on climate and voting. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) showed a similar spirit when she celebrated the negative prices for oil which threaten millions of oil and gas workers — because the crisis seemed to be an opportunity for her to push her Green New Deal.

What does it matter if millions of Americans are suffering amid an economic crisis so long as Democrats can find some "leverage" to push their radical agenda, right?

Voters should remember this in November.   Even if they still have their jobs they should know that Democrats used them to extort funding for unrelated matters.

Drones appear to be replacing jets for many operations.  The Russia-Ukraine war is an example of that.  Drones are often hard to detect and can be used for intelligence operations as well as for attacking enemy targets.  It would not surprise me to see drones engaging other drones in combat.  They also cost much less than manned fighters.

Apple's huge investment in US including Texas facility

Blaze: Apple announced a $500 billion commitment to infrastructure in the United States over four years, its largest commitment to domestic spending to date. Apple said it will expand teams and facilities in Arizona, California, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Oregon, Texas, and Washington as part of its new spending. With a new facility in Houston, Texas, Apple will reportedly double its investment in advanced manufacturing along with increasing investments in AI and silicon engineering. The company said in a press release that the Houston facility will produce servers to support Apple Intelligence, the "personal intelligence system that helps users write, express themselves, and get things done." ... The Texas facility will be for advanced technologies.   Texas has become a place that is very supportive of the tech industries.  Austin and Houston have seen much of the tech growth in the state.  Texas universities have been active in the AI field.
