The Marines assisted in the Friendswood neighborhood along Clear Creek.  The Creek flows into Clear Lake which empties into Galveston Bay.  The high tides from the storm may have added to the drainage problem in the area.

The Marines are now headed to Beaumont to deal with flooding in that community.

The vehicles seem like an ideal way to navigate between flooded are3as and the high ground.
