Obama's counterror strategy in Yemen collapses

U.S.-Yemen counterterror operations halted

The Obama administration was forced to suspend operations with Yemen after the country’s government collapsed, abruptly easing pressure on al-Qaeda’s most dangerous franchise.
They will probably fire it back up. After all they are attacking Somalia and it hardly has a government.  But there is no denying that their effort was inadequate in protecting the government from all the extremist arrayed against it.
