Robust Reponse to ISIS Appears Far Off for Iraqis


Despite increasing assistance from the United States, Iraq’s ability to mount a sustained counteroffensive to retake territory seized by the Islamic State is still months away, American officials say.
The Kurds are the one fighting force in the region that is willing and able to stand up to ISIL as demonstrated at Kobani.  All those governments who are unwilling or unable to fight have no right to ask the US to deprive the Kurds of weapons to resist an evil enemy.
