Anticipating a takeover of Congress, Republicans have assembled an economic agenda that reflects their small-government philosophy, but leaves many economists underwhelmed.
Actually the small government model has been the one bright spot in the US economy during the Obama years.  Texas and other states have shown how the small government model can produce thousands of jobs.  Releasing the US energy potential the way Texas, Louisiana and North Dakota  have will also grow the economy.  Overcoming the impediments of the anti energy left should be a key objective.
