Liberals drive the middle class out of their cities
The Atlantic:
Why Middle-Class Americans Can't Afford to Live in Liberal CitiesMaybe that is the reason liberals talk about income inequality so much. A home in suburban San Francisco can cost 10 times as much as a similar home in a suburb of Houston. It is another reason why those cities were hardest hit in the financial crisis as home prices dropped to much less than was owed.
Blue America has a problem: Even after adjusting for income, left-leaning metros tend to have worse income inequality and less affordable housing.
