Dodging the question
The reporter ask twice whether there was a decision to deny help to our people under fire in Benghazi. Obama falls back on an answer about studying what happened, but why does he need a study to answer whether or not he refused to order a rescue operation? Clearly none was ordered. He apparently did not want to explain why none was ordered in the face of a direct request.
The CIA's director, David Petraeus says "No one at any level in the CIA told anybody not to help those in need; claims to the contrary are simply inaccurate. ” The decision not to help came from either the Pentagon or the President or both.
