Afghan tantrums continue unabated
NY Times:
Karzai wants to put the people who made the decision on trial. I would do that as soon as he goes on trial for his army's killings of American troops. In the meantime, I would order all US personnel to wear their combat jackets anytime they are around Afghan troops.
There comes a time when the people in Afghanistan should be held accountable for their actions.
I suspect this is what the Taliban prisoners intended by marking up their Koran. I am curious at who in the command came up with the idea of burning the books. We already knew the bogus Koran in the crapper scandal caused similar tantrums by this very backward culture.
