What are Dems to do with unhappy women?
IF Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, what kind of fury can millions of women unleash?Obama is one of the weakest candidates in a long time. The turning point in the Democrat elections came in the debate where Hillary Clinton could not give a straight answer about drivers licenses for illegal aliens. It exposed her lack of core beliefs. The irony of that turning point is that Obama was just as bad on the question if not worse, but he got a pass, like he has on other issues. There is still a probability that there will be hell to pay for slighting her.Last night, Barack Obama delivered a much-anticipated speech following the Oregon and Kentucky primaries. After letting it leak that he'd be declaring victory, the Obama campaign pulled back - seemingly wary of the brewing backlash among Hillary supporters.
Speaking to the Iowa crowd, he celebrated the milestone of earning the majority of pledged delegates (the equivalent of victory) but generously added that it put him only "within reach of the Democratic nomination."
He said, "No matter how this primary ends, Sen. Clinton has shattered myths and broken barriers and changed the America in which my daughters and yours will come of age." He praised her as "one of the most formidable candidates to ever run for this office."
Looming behind his speech was a primal scream from female Clinton supporters enraged over her treatment.

WomenCountPAC ran a full-page New York Times ad, "Not So Fast," warning against pressure for her to drop out. A liberal blog highlighted the ad, telling readers, "At least the DNC and the others will know that we are not going quietly and we will make trouble for them in the fall."
What are they so upset about? A few highlights:
* Mike Barnicle on MSNBC: "When she reacts the way, she reacts to Obama with just the look . . . looking like everyone's first wife standing outside a probate court."
* Male pundit on Fox News: "When men hear Hillary Clinton speak, they hear, 'Take out the trash.' "
* MSNBC's Chris Matthews claimed she wouldn't have won her Senate seat if her husband hadn't "messed around . . . she didn't win there on her merit."
* Questioner at a McCain event: "How can we beat the b----h?" (McCain laughed.) A male reporter who covers Clinton's campaign told CNN that he thought the question was funny and asked, "What voter in general hasn't thought that?"
Answer: Probably the 15 million-plus voters who've turned out in the primaries to choose her as be the Democratic nominee haven't had that thought. These are people Barack Obama needs to win over.

She's where she is because she ran an incompetent campaign for months. It's so simple, it's mind-boggling.
Despite all evidence to the contrary, the media delusion that Obama is the only one with rabid supporters continues to permeate the coverage, In fact, for all his record crowd turnouts, when it's come to pulling the lever, Clinton has managed to energize pretty much the same number of voters.
