60,000 die in Burma storm--Blame Bush?

Washington Post:

The number of dead and missing in the Burma cyclone soared past 60,000 Tuesday amid signs the toll will rise even higher, as much of the disaster zone remained flooded by seawater, threatened by disease and out of reach of an international relief operation that is taking shape.

President Bush offered to send U.S. Navy units to help in the operation, and sharply criticized Burma's military-run government for delays in approving visas for emergency teams. Burmese dissident groups took issue with the timing of the administration's criticism, suggesting it could complicate the relief effort.

....
The dissident groups appear to be as goofy as Gore, who blamed the storm on "climate change" the new euphemism for what he used to call global warming. I think it is really Gore's fault for not visiting there and brining with him the natural cooling effect that follows his travels. The record show storm he would cause would probably kill more people but it is the kind of change that he and Democrats want.

It also seems obvious to me that what is complicating the relief effort is the incompetence of the Burma authorities who are acting like Louisiana Democrats.

  1. The Burma authorities should be happy for the United States help. They are really going to need it. I think your remark about Gore was uncalled for. What has he done to you personally that he would deserve that cruel remark. I hope you can sleep at night. If you say "I sleep fine," then I feel sorry for you.

  2. What has Gore done? I will start with the double flush toilets he inflicts on all who have built new houses in recent years. But the particular remark was aimed at his insipid claim that the storm was caused by "climate change." There is just no science to support such nonsense and he is too cowardly to debate people on the issue.
