Ohio Democrats cheering mob violence

 Trending Politics:

A Democratic politician in Cincinnati, Ohio, is getting her 15 minutes of infamy after cheering on a violent crowd that left two people bleeding and unconscious following a late-night street beatdown over the weekend.

Two men and a woman have been charged stemming from the attack, which occurred in the early morning hours of July 26, drawing national attention and carrying racial overtones as commentators continue to weigh in about whether anti-white or anti-black remarks played a role in the feud.

Montianez Merriweather, 34; Dekyra Vernon, 24; and Jermaine Matthews, 39, were arrested within a day and charged with felonious assault and aggravated riot. Police say they have identified two additional suspects who participated in attacking the victims, but said they remain at large as of Wednesday afternoon.

Conservative commentators initially condemned the mainstream media for failing to cover the story, leading to liberal pushback by voices including Victoria Parks, a city councilor in Cincinnati, where the fight took place. However, her reaction hasn’t garnered the attention she may have hoped for.

“They begged for that beat down!” she recently wrote on Facebook while commenting on another post, adding she is “grateful for the whole story” being told.

City records indicate that Parks currently serves as the president pro tem.

They feel that their hatred of Donald Trump justifies any and all aberrant behavior. It doesn't, of course; it merely offers continual proof that they are awful people.
