Border crossing limited since Trump election

The Trump administration has achieved significant milestones in border security, with a sharp decline in illegal immigration, marking a notable shift from previous years. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) data highlights a record-breaking reduction in illegal crossings, alongside increased efforts to combat drug smuggling.
In June, nationwide illegal border crossings dropped to an all-time low, according to CBP. This decline is accompanied by historically low apprehension numbers, minimal parole releases, and a rise in drug seizures as authorities intensify efforts against illegal narcotics trafficking.
“From shutting down illegal crossings to seizing fentanyl and enforcing billions in tariffs, CBP is delivering results on every front,” CBP Commissioner Rodney Scott said in a public statement. “Under this administration, we are protecting this country with relentless focus, and the numbers prove it,” Scott continued.
CBP reported just 25,228 total encounters nationwide in June, the lowest monthly figure ever recorded by the agency. This represents a significant milestone in border enforcement efforts.
Border Patrol apprehended only 8,024 individuals across the country, setting a new record for the lowest monthly apprehensions. On June 28, agents recorded just 136 arrests, the lowest single-day total in CBP history.

Trump has proved that the border can be controlled without requiring additional expenditures, which Biden said were needed. Biden opened the borders to a flood of illegals and then pretended that it would cost more money to fix the problem he created.
