Walz tries to explain why Dems lost in 2024

 Red State:

...

Speaking before a like-minded audience on Saturday, Walz told the attendees that the reason he and Harris lost the election, as well as why down-ballot Democrats lost enough seats to ensure Republican majorities in both chambers of Congress, was because Democrats didn't push their "message" hard enough.

Here's Walz:

Our strength is our diversity. We've been talking about this for years as a country of immigrants — and we let them [Republican Party} define the issue on immigration. We let them define the issue on DEI. And we let them define what "woke" is.

We got ourselves in this mess because we weren't strong enough to stand up and say: "You''re damn right we're proud of these policies. We're gonna put 'em in, and we're gonna execute 'em."

Oh, Tim, bless your heart. You so don't get it; it's hard to watch.

Memo to Walz and like-minded Democrats:

We — all of us — are not defined by our words — we are defined by our actions

Sanctimoniously boasting (lying) about the Democrat Party's support of immigration as a defense for intentionally allowing roughly 12 million illegal aliens to stream across America's southern border, many of whom committed violent crimes after they arrived, and even more of them being hardened criminals in their countries of origin, is not synonymous with supporting legal immigration of people who first undergo and pass background checks.

Moreover, Democrats can define "woke" and DEI any way they choose, yet their actions have led to public school teachers indoctrinating children into believing in everything from "white supremacy" to it's perfectly normal to change their gender to irreversible mutilation of their bodies in the name "gender-affirming care."

Oh, and males who pretend to be females dominating females in female sporting events.

While some of us might be inclined to suggest that Walz and other Democrats should stuff a sock it, Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz couldn't be happier about Walz's "logic" for the future of the Democrat Party, and on Friday, he made his feelings public in a post on X (formerly Twitter):

Tampons for every man in America!

The Democrats have found their platform.

...

Ted Cruz does a much better job of explaining why Democrats lost than does Tim Walz.  The polling also showed that the vast majority of Americans opposed the Democrats' open borders policy.   DEI is also a loser with most voters.  The smart people want people to be selected for jobs based on merit.  That was always my position when applying for jobs.  The real reason the Democrats opened the borders and allowed illegals to enter the US is that they hoped they would give them a permanent majority and total control of US politics.

Tim Walz Figures Out What’s Wrong With the Democrats

Imagine hitting yourself over the head with a mallet and giving yourself a terrific headache, and then saying, “Wow, I’ve got such a headache! I know what will fix it! I’ll hit myself on the head with this mallet!” That’s the state of the Democrat Party these days and particularly of failed second banana Tim Walz, who recommended in a recent speech not that Democrats reject the woke idiocy that has led them straight into a ditch, but that they embrace even more of it. Why, Tim, you’re an absolute genius! That’ll fix everything!
