NY Times Editorial Board Thinks Democrats Went Too Far Left in 2024

One of their most ludicrous suggestions is that the Dems admit they
lied aboutstruggled with the issue of Biden's obvious deterioration. "They should admit that their party mishandled Mr. Biden’s age," the legacy outlet argued.Of course, the Grey Lady was all-in on dismissing Biden’s cognitive abilities—memo: it wasn’t his “age” that was the problem, NYT—and trying to convince us that Kamala Harris was the bestest candidate ever. They’ve been preaching to their “elite” readership for decades about the virtues of leftism, so much so that they’ve forgotten where the center even is. To pretend they’re not part of the problem is nauseating.

According to excerpts from the forthcoming book Fight: Inside the Wildest Battle for the White House, previewed by The Guardian, Biden’s inner circle issued a stark warning to party donors: swapping Biden for Harris would be a colossal “mistake.” As the current date ticks to March 28, 2025, with Democrats licking their wounds from a brutal election loss, it’s clear that Harris as a national candidate was a liability the party could ill afford—and any talk of her making a comeback is a terrible idea.

While Harris was a bad candidate, so was Joe Biden. He was so far underwater at the time, he made Harris look like someone with a better chance of winning.
