Trump explains the problem with the Harris-Walz ticket

During a press conference in the Oval Office on Friday, President Donald Trump pointed fingers at Democratic Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, asserting that Walz played a significant role in former Vice President Kamala Harris’ loss in the November election. Trump’s comments came in response to a question from Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy, who brought up remarks Walz made earlier in the week on the program This is Gavin Newsom. In that appearance, Walz boasted, “I feel I could kick most of their *ss,” a statement Doocy interpreted as directed at Trump supporters.

Trump seized on the comment, suggesting that Walz would find himself in deep water if he ever had to face off against his supporters. “Well, he’s a loser, you know? I mean, the guy’s a loser. He lost an election. He played a part. You know, usually a vice president doesn’t play a part, they say,” Trump said. “I think Tim played a part. I think he was so bad that he hurt her. But she hurt herself and [former President] Joe [Biden] hurt them both. They didn’t have a great group. But I would probably put him at the bottom of the group.” The president argued that, contrary to the typical view that vice presidential candidates have little impact on the ticket, Walz’s presence dragged Harris down.

While Wa;z was not a great candidate, I think Harris drug herself down on her own.  She was exposed as one of the most inarticulate candidates in history.  There were many articles about her speaking problem which was often called "word salads."  If the Democrats cannot find someone besides Harris and Walz they will have difficulty in future contests.  They were both terrible candidates.

29 % of companies say they are unlikely to keep insurance after Obamacare

Conn Carroll: A new survey of 368 midsize to large companies found that 29% of them are considering terminating their active employee health care plans when Obamacare is full implemented in 2014. Only 71% of employers surveyed said they did not expect to drop their health coverage, while 20% said they did not know and 9% said they were planning to exit. The latest survey, conducted by Towers Watson, echoes an ealier survey by McKinsey & Co. finding that 30% of private-sector employers were planning to drop their employee health insurance coverage by 2014. When the Congressional Budget Office crunched Obamacare's spending numbers, they estimated that only 7% of employees currently covered by employer-sponsored plans would lose their plans. ... Drones appear to be replacing jets for many operations.  The Russia-Ukraine war is an example of that.  Drones are often hard to detect and can be used for intelligence operations as well as for attacking enemy targets.  It would not surprise me to see drones engaging other drones in combat.  They also cost much less than manned fighters.
