Trump orders 10,000 troops to border

In a decisive move to strengthen America’s defenses, President Donald Trump has wasted no time in bolstering security along the nation’s southern border. Within a mere three months of taking office, the administration has deployed over 10,000 U.S. military troops to support efforts to safeguard the country from a range of threats emanating from the southwest frontier.
Demonstrating his unwavering commitment to protecting American sovereignty, President Trump issued a flurry of executive orders during his first days in office, setting the stage for a robust response to the challenges at the border. Among these was a powerful directive to the Department of Defense, tasking the United States Northern Command (USNORTHCOM) with the critical mission to “seal the borders and maintain the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and security of the United States by repelling forms of invasion including unlawful mass migration, narcotics trafficking, human smuggling and trafficking, and other criminal activities.”
Within just 36 hours of the President’s order, an initial force of 1,500 U.S. troops surged to the southwest border, joining the 2,500 reservists already in place, bringing the total to an impressive 4,000. By March 1, the Department of Defense had further reinforced this presence with a formidable 4,400-soldier Stryker brigade combat team and a 650-troop general support aviation battalion, elevating the number of Title 10 forces to approximately 9,000.

The illegals have apparently already gotten the word that the border is closed to them. The invasion across the southern border is the lowest it has been in years, and the Biden open borders policy is officially kapoot. I suspect there will still be some work to do in removing those illegally in the country, although there have been reports of self deportation.
