Dem destruction in California

 American Action News:

Robert Davi, who co-starred in several prominent 1980s films, appeared on Fox Business Wednesday to criticize the Democratic leadership in California for a myriad of problems that he says prompted him to leave after nearly 50 years.

Speaking on “The Evening Edit,” Davi detailed his frustrations with how he says California’s Democratic leadership has handled environmental and policy issues. Davi said the state needs substantial wildfire prevention measures, such as brush and reservoir maintenance, which have been grossly neglected. Davi said that in 1990 that former Republican Gov. Pete Wilson introduced a bill to build reservoirs to collect rainwater. Davi said the bill failed because Democrats “killed it.”

“I think President Trump should do a national referendum on that. He should meet with maybe [Arnold] Schwarzenegger, who understood the environmental issues, and not pretend he understood them like Newsom does for photo ops,” Davi told host Elizabeth MacDonald.

Davi also talked about what he said were the restrictive water use policies imposed throughout the state, including the infamous 38-gallon limit that applied even to affluent areas like Beverly Hills.

“That is the frustration in the left. They don’t solve problems. They create problems. When I was in California, as I said, 46 years, we left three years ago. You had to have, as President Trump said, 38 gallons. That wasn’t just in Beverly Hills, that was in a lot of parts of California,” Davi said. “You couldn’t water your lawns. You couldn’t do certain kind of irrigation because they were conserving. I think there should be conditions, absolutely, when you have a political body, as in California, that are basically run by the Democrats, that are not really taking care of this, that state, that beautiful state at one time, and have done policies in terms of crime, in terms of the environment.”

Davi said he wants stringent conditions applied to aid provided to California.

California has become an example of what to do with government.  Texas is an example of what works in government.  I am not sure why Democrats oppose reservoirs, but the state clearly needs them.  Even the ones they built do not collect water.  What is up with that?  Democrats appear to be a destruction party in that state.
