Virginia to end sanctuary cities
Governor Glenn Youngkin is working to crack down on sanctuary cities in Virginia.
Youngkin rolled out a budget amendment seeking to force counties and cities to cooperate with federal immigration officials to deport illegal immigrants who commit violent crimes.
“Today we are taking common-sense steps for no sanctuary cities in the Commonwealth of Virginia,” Youngkin said on Thursday alongside Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares, Loudoun County Sheriff Mike Chapman, and other Virginia sheriffs.
Youngkin announced if local governments adopt sanctuary policies that block or impede communication with federal immigration officials, he will seek to halt their funding from the state.

I hope the incoming Trump administration also cracks down on sanctuary cities around the country. It is a necessary move to regain control of the US borders and reinstate procedures for those seeking to become US citizens.
