Leftist challenge conservative Democrat in Texas
Houston Chronicle:
Progressives eye Texas race as test for toppling incumbents
Right-leaning Texas Democrat Henry Cuellar could be open to challenge in the 2022 midterms following a recent FBI probe—or so his progressives opponents are hoping as they search for toeholds in the Lone Star State.
This article reads like an ode to liberalism in South Texas and ignores the trend in the Hispanic community away from Democrats in general and President "Biden in particular. I think Cuellar's biggest challenge will come from the right in this year's election. Border Hispanics are fed up with Biden and the liberal Democrats' open borders policies that are allowing an invasion of the country. Republicans are more likely to pick up the seat than some AOC wannabe.
There has been no indication of what the FBI's probe is about. The reputation of the agency has taken a hit in recent years because of its bogus participation in the Russian collusion hoax where it wasted millions of dollars and cost innocent people millions while their pursued Hillary Clinton's fraudulent allegations against Trump and his supporters.
