There is a powerful case for a mistrial ruling in Rittenhouse trial

 Ed Morrissey:

Rittenhouse mystery: What happened to mistrial motion over prosecutorial misconduct?

The prosecution's conduct presents a strong argument for a mistrial.  I agree with the speculation that the judge is waiting to see if there is an acquittal which would make the issue moot.  If they come back with a guilty verdict the judge would likely give a mistrial ruling at that point since an appeals court would overturn the case anyway because of the prosecution misconduct that is alleged.
