New Poll Doesn't Just Carry with It Bad News for Biden, But Good News for Trump for 2024

 Particularly foreboding for the president is that just 25 percent of Independents approve of the job Biden is doing, while 66 disapprove. In September, 37 percent approved and 56 percent disapproved. 

Emerson's poll write-up also highlighted the drop in certain demographics from February to November:

The drop in approval is greatest among Black/African-American voters, moving from 72% approval in February to 52% approval in November. Hispanic support dropped from 56% approval to 50% approval, and approval among White voters dropped from 43% to 38% approval.

The bad news continues for President Biden and Democrats. In a hypothetical re-match between Donald Trump and Biden come 2024, 45 percent would vote for Trump and 43 percent would vote for Biden. 

Looming closer is the 2022 midterms election. Republicans have an edge there too. A strong plurality, at 49 percent, would vote for the Republican candidate, while 42 percent would vote for the Democrat. Forty nine percent of Independents would vote for the Republican.

You have to also consider that most polls tend to underestimate support for Trump from 2016 through 2020.  This probably does too.  It is really hard to comprehend why Biden gets any support at all with the disastrous consequences of his policies.

Drones appear to be replacing jets for many operations.  The Russia-Ukraine war is an example of that.  Drones are often hard to detect and can be used for intelligence operations as well as for attacking enemy targets.  It would not surprise me to see drones engaging other drones in combat.  They also cost much less than manned fighters.

Apple's huge investment in US including Texas facility

Blaze: Apple announced a $500 billion commitment to infrastructure in the United States over four years, its largest commitment to domestic spending to date. Apple said it will expand teams and facilities in Arizona, California, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Oregon, Texas, and Washington as part of its new spending. With a new facility in Houston, Texas, Apple will reportedly double its investment in advanced manufacturing along with increasing investments in AI and silicon engineering. The company said in a press release that the Houston facility will produce servers to support Apple Intelligence, the "personal intelligence system that helps users write, express themselves, and get things done." ... The Texas facility will be for advanced technologies.   Texas has become a place that is very supportive of the tech industries.  Austin and Houston have seen much of the tech growth in the state.  Texas universities have been active in the AI field.
