Europeans revolt against vaccine mandates

Violent protests have broken out against COVID-19 vaccine mandates and lockdowns across Europe amid new tough rules to curb winter waves of the virus.

Demonstrators angry about the new measures gathered in Austria, Croatia, Italy, Northern Ireland, the French territory of Guadeloupe and the Netherlands to protest the moves.

In the Netherlands, a second night of riots broke out Saturday over a partial lockdown, one day after police opened fire on people protesting the rules in Rotterdam.

Protesters hurled fireworks at police and set fire to bicycles in The Hague, as cops used horses, dogs and batons to chase the crowds away, the BBC reported.

Despite more than 70 percent of the country being fully vaccinated, it imposed a three-week partial lockdown last weekend after recording a record spike in cases.

There is much more including pictures of some of the violence from the demonstrators.  In the US you are more likely to see a court fight against the mandates and there have been many of those.  

I think the mandates are a mistake and I also think that most people should take precautions against the virus.  The requirement that people with natural immunity get vaccinated looks redundant and ignores the science.  But I am one of those who do not want to take a chance on surviving the virus to get natural immunity so I am fully vaccinated and got the booster and have had no ill effects from it so far.

29 % of companies say they are unlikely to keep insurance after Obamacare

Conn Carroll: A new survey of 368 midsize to large companies found that 29% of them are considering terminating their active employee health care plans when Obamacare is full implemented in 2014. Only 71% of employers surveyed said they did not expect to drop their health coverage, while 20% said they did not know and 9% said they were planning to exit.
