Energy secretary thinks high gas prices are funny

But we have to say for sheer tone-deafness in the Biden Administration, we might just have to give the prize to Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm. When asked about what was the “Granholm plan” to help out with the rising gas prices, she literally threw her head back and laughed her head off.

“Ha ha ha. That is hilarious!” Granholm said. She followed that by saying that she couldn’t do anything, it was all up to OPEC.

But it isn’t, and that’s just the point. The Biden team would put us at the mercy of such decisions. The point of the Trump Administration was energy independence so you are not subject to the whims of cartels. However, when you continuously undercut energy production as the Biden team has, they can’t now try to foist the blame off on others. They own it, squarely.

Her laughter just shows she doesn’t care about how this is affecting people because if she had even the slightest feelings of conscience at all, she would at least pretend to have a more serious response.

The fact is that high gas prices are their policy and it is quite deliberate.  They can't blame this on OPEC and that blaming is what is laughable.  OPEC is just taking advantage of Biden's policy of restricting the domestic supply of oil and gas.  What she is laughing at is that she knows this.  The Democrats went into this administration wanting to raise the price to European levels and they have had some success in doing that.

Apple's huge investment in US including Texas facility

Blaze: Apple announced a $500 billion commitment to infrastructure in the United States over four years, its largest commitment to domestic spending to date. Apple said it will expand teams and facilities in Arizona, California, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Oregon, Texas, and Washington as part of its new spending. With a new facility in Houston, Texas, Apple will reportedly double its investment in advanced manufacturing along with increasing investments in AI and silicon engineering. The company said in a press release that the Houston facility will produce servers to support Apple Intelligence, the "personal intelligence system that helps users write, express themselves, and get things done." ... The Texas facility will be for advanced technologies.   Texas has become a place that is very supportive of the tech industries.  Austin and Houston have seen much of the tech growth in the state.  Texas universities have been active in the AI field.
