The Democrats have an immigration problem

Byron York:
...
There's a lot of polling to suggest that parts of Clinton's and Sanders' immigration proposals are pretty far out of touch with the majority of American voters. One might even suggest the Democrats' leftward move on the issue could threaten the party's chances at the polls. Of course, that would require the pundits taking their eyes off Trump long enough to notice.
The pundits would be forced to notice in a general election if the Republicans campaign among blacks who have been displaced by immigrant workers.  This is also true of working class whites who are out of work.  The Democrats are selling out their base to appeal to Hispanic many of whom are not eligible to vote.

The GOP can also make the case that the Democrats focus on raising the minimum wage will result in even more black youths not being able to find entry level jobs.  This should appeal to their parents who see the lack of entry level jobs as one reason these kids are on the streets and running with gangs.
