A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 39% of Likely U.S. Voters favor the federal government spending more money in areas like education, transportation and technological innovation. Voters are no longer enamored of big spending programs even for some things generally seen as good. The Republicans should be able to build support for the cuts they want to make in spending.
