The State of the Union speech

The President spoke to mostly tepid applause.  He still has several big spending policies.  He probably got his biggest applause of the night when he said it was time for universities and colleges to be open to our military recruiters and ROTC.  Even the Democrats stood for that line.

While he did not cut much compared to the cuts the GOP has argued we need to make.  He still is not willing to act responsibly on entitlements.

Ryan makes a strong case against the first two years of spending by the Obama administration.  We still have time to fix things if we act now.  We are at a tipping point and need to stop the spending.
