For Democrats, the Clintons are the safer bet. Blacks will stay on the Democrat plantation, but the Hispanics will probably not give Obama much support. They will very likely vote for McCain. Hispanic prejudice against blacks is rarely spoken about, but it is there and it is pervasive. If Obama is the Democrat candidate the rainbow coalition will be split.
